Evans is a Professional Mechanical Engineer with over 7 years of experience in water and energy space. As a co-founder, Evans is highly motivated to the realization of gender equality. Having grown up in an environment where women faced a lot of challenges, including forced early marriages as an exchange for wealth, he is passionate about ensuring the girl child also gets an opportunity for academic growth. Evans is a licensed Engineer by the Engineers Board of Kenya and a certified project manager by the Project Management Institute. By combining his technical and project management, he is the project manager for Empower Her Initiatives projects which he manages effortlessly. Apart from that, he is a passionate trainer and educator on issues around sustainability and WASH.
